THE KING IS BACK!
The International Tour of THE LION KING comes roaring back to Taiwan from June 2022!
Michael Cassel Group in association with Disney Theatrical Productions is thrilled to announce THE LION KING, the award-winning best musical, will make a triumphant return to Taiwan from June 2022.
The multi award-winning Broadway hit witnessed by nearly 110 million people worldwide will return to Taipei Arena in June 2022, before heading to National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts in July 2022 for the very first time. Tickets will be released to the public on March 17.
One of the most popular stage musicals in the world, having played in over 100 cities across 21 countries, THE LION KING is a global phenomenon that redefines audiences’ expectations of theatre. The International Tour returns to Taiwan following a box-office-breaking 2019 season at Taipei Arena.

We are thrilled to return to Taipei and play our first engagement in Kaohsiung. Audiences can look forward to a truly authentic Broadway experience, delivered by our incredible international cast.”
