Les Misérables 2014 – Open Auditions – Children
Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of Les Misérables will be holding auditions for Melbourne-based children who can act and sing. The production will open at Her Majesty’s Theatre in June 2014, with rehearsals from May 2014.
There are three roles:
- FEMALE – Young Cosette and Young Eponine
Both roles are sweet, with soprano voice.
Age Range: 10 – 12 years old. Must be 10 years as at 12 May 2014.
Height: Must not exceed 133cm.
- MALE – Gavroche
Streetwise and tough, but likeable.
Age Range: 10 – 11 years old. Must be 10 years as at 12 May 2014, with unbroken voice.
Height: Must not exceed 140cm.
There is no flexibility on age or height requirements due to legal and creative reasons and height will be measured on the day.
