Nick Beech is an entertainment professional with over 15 years’ experience working in the industry.
Nick joined Michael Cassel Group as Executive Assistant to the CEO, working alongside Michael Cassel for two-and-a-half years, before being promoted to the role of Production Coordinator with a focus on the Asia tour of Les Misérables. Prior to his role at Michael Cassel Group, Nick worked as Company Manager for Barry Humphries’ farewell tour, Eat Pray Laugh! across Australia & New Zealand and as Assistant Company Manager on Hairspray the Musical.
Nick also worked with AG Ticketing as Ticketing Manager on a variety of shows including the Australian & New Zealand tours of Mary Poppins, The Mousetrap 60th Anniversary and Eat Pray Laugh! As Ticketing Coordinator, productions include Love Never Dies, Hairspray the Musical, Tap Dogs and Riverdance Farewell Tour & the Imperial Ice Stars’ Nutcracker on Ice.
He joined Sydney Festival for a three year period, being promoted to Ticketing Coordinator where he prepared and managed ticket inventory across 350 events, along with the coordination of VIP ticketing and events.
Nick commenced his professional career at Ticketek, working in Sydney’s major theatre and event box offices, as a Supervisor and Manager including at ANZ Stadium and as Acting Box Office Manager at Sydney Lyric Theatre and Theatre Royal. Beyond the box office, Nick was appointed Project Coordinator for the Royal Easter Show on behalf of Ticketek, responsible for the daily operations of the largest ticketed event in the southern hemisphere.
Nick’s love for the industry began as a performer when he was 10 years old. Nick initially trained as an actor and graduated in 2001 from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Performance) from Theatre Nepean. He subsequently appeared in a number of award winning television shows and stage productions as well as performing in radio plays and television commercials. He was also a Producer and a Co-Writer of the independent hit Boyband.
