Following a critically acclaimed West End season, Michael Cassel Group was the producer of the Broadway premiere of Sydney Theatre Company’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, starring Emmy and Golden Globe award-winner Sarah Snook, reprising her Olivier Award-winning performance. The ground-breaking production earned six nominations at the 78th Annual Tony Awards, receiving two wins. Sarah Snook was awarded Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her extraordinary solo performance, and Marg Horwell was recognised with Best Costume Design of a Play, celebrating the production’s striking visual storytelling.
Also on Broadway, Michael Cassel Group is a co-producer of the smash hit musical MJ the Musical.
With an unwavering commitment to storytelling, innovation and creative excellence, Michael Cassel Group is shaping the next era of global theatre. In September, Michael Cassel Group will co-produce a brand-new production of The Hello Girls at Syracuse Stage in New York. Looking ahead to 2026, the company will debut a bold new West End production of Dracula, starring Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner Cynthia Erivo and directed by visionary Tony nominee Kip Williams.
Previous Australian productions include Hamilton, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, & Juliet, Beetlejuice the Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, Mary Poppins, Titanique, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Les Misérables, Kinky Boots, Singin’ In The Rain and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
Internationally, the company has toured Hamilton to Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Manila; Disney’s The Lion King to Taipei, Seoul, Busan and Bangkok; and Les Misérables throughout Asia. Forthcoming international touring productions include Beetlejuice the Musical.
Additional Broadway and West End credits include Into The Woods, Almost Famous, Redwood, Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical, The Prince of Egypt, Pretty Woman and The Cher Show – of which the group co-produced.

On screen, Michael Cassel Group created and produced the televised Christmas extravaganza A (Very) Musical Christmas (including the official cast recording), the internationally broadcast opening celebration of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 and The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo at ANZ Stadium.

In 2025, the company expanded into recorded music with the launch of Michael Cassel Music. The single marked the first step in the company’s commitment to original cast recordings, theatrical soundtracks and bold new performance-led releases.
