The Michael Cassel Group is a leading live entertainment company formed to produce and present the world’s greatest musical and theatrical productions, live entertainment experiences, marquee events and concert attractions.

Current and forthcoming productions include the celebrated Australian musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert and the award-winning production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Internationally, the company is producing the worldwide touring production of Disney’s The Lion King in celebration of its 20th anniversary on stage. The Lion King is now playing in Singapore, before heading to Korea and Taiwan with more engagements to be announced soon. On Broadway, the Michael Cassel Group is a co-producer of two 2018 premiere musical productions, Pretty Woman: The Musical and The Cher Show.

Previous productions include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Les Misérables, Kinky Boots, Singin’ In The Rain, Lea Salonga in Concert and Darren Criss: Intimate and Live.

In addition to the group’s expanding theatrical interests, the company represents former Australian Prime Minister, the Hon. Julia Gillard AC, former Olympian and global sporting administrator Lord Sebastian Coe CH, KBE and media personality Sami Lukis.

Producers Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions are delighted to confirm the cast of the Australian premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The Australian cast of 42 performers will be led by Gareth Reeves as Harry Potter, Paula Arundell as Hermione Granger, Gyton Grantley as Ron Weasley, Lucy Goleby as Ginny Potter, Sean Rees-Wemyss as Albus Potter, Tom Wren as Draco Malfoy and William McKenna as Scorpius Malfoy.
