The Michael Cassel Group is a live entertainment company formed to produce the world’s greatest musical and theatrical productions, live entertainment experiences, marquee events and concert attractions.

Current productions include the Australian premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, now playing at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne. In 2019, the company will also bring the acclaimed international spectacular, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.

Internationally, the company is producing the worldwide touring production of Disney’s The Lion King in celebration of its 20th anniversary on stage. The Lion King is now playing in Korea, before Taiwan and more engagements to be announced soon. On Broadway, the Michael Cassel Group is a co-producer of two 2018 premiere musical productions, Pretty Woman: The Musical and The Cher Show.

Previous productions include Priscilla Queen of the DesertBeautiful: The Carole King MusicalLes MisérablesKinky BootsSingin’ In The RainLea Salonga in Concert and Darren Criss: Intimate and Live.

In addition to the group’s expanding theatrical interests, the company represents former Australian Prime Minister, the Hon. Julia Gillard AC, former Olympian and global sporting administrator Lord Sebastian Coe CH, KBE and media personality Sami Lukis.
