The Michael Cassel Group is a live entertainment company formed to produce the world’s greatest musical and theatrical productions, live entertainment experiences, marquee events and concert attractions.

Current productions include the Australian Premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, now playing at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.  In 2019, the company brings the acclaimed international spectacular, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to Sydney’s ANZ Stadium; Tony® and Olivier Award-winning Broadway star and Disney legend Lea Salonga in Concert to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne; Australian award-winning performer Tina Arena for the Opening of the Sydney Coliseum Theatre West HQ; and in partnership with Live Nation, Celeste Barber: Challenge Accepted tour of Australian and New Zealand. In February 2020, the Michael Cassel Group will produce the opening celebration of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 at the Sydney Showground Stadium. In March 2021, Michael Cassel Group will premiere the landmark, multi-award-winning musical Hamilton at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.  

Internationally, the company is producing the worldwide touring production of Disney’s The Lion King in celebration of its 20th anniversary on stage. After triumphant seasons in Manila, Singapore, South Korea (Daegu, Busan and Seoul) & Taipei, the company will perform in Bangkok and Hong Kong, with additional cities to be announced.

In addition to the group’s expanding theatrical interests, the company represents former Australian Prime Minister, the Hon. Julia Gillard AC, former Olympian and global sporting administrator Lord Sebastian Coe CH, KBE and media personality Sami Lukis.
